Assistant Professor in Planetary Geoscience – University of Iowa

The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in the broad area of Planetary Geoscience. This position is part of a new initiative to expand the role of space science on campus to build on the legacy of James Van Allen. Research interests may be in any area of Planetary Geoscience, including geophysics, remote sensing, mineralogy, and geochemistry. Applicants with interest in space missions and general experience or research interest in lunar geology and/or geophysics are particularly welcomed.
