When you join the Geo-Down-Under (GDU) site as a contributor or writer you will receive an email login link to claim your account. Accounts for writers and editors at GDU are not tied to this forum in any way even if they use the same email address.
If you don’t receive the link in the first few minutes after you have been invited, it is probably because the invitation has been filtered out as SPAM (who ever heard of the .education domain, after all ?). We can fix that if you let the person who invited you know that you haven’t received the sign-up link.
The platform which we use to publish GDU is ghost and the login for the editing site is: https://www.geo-down-under.org.au/ghost. When you log in you see the site with a sidebar with a menu with a “posts” item which you click to start a new entry (or to find a draft post from the editorial team).
The editor is markdown behind the scenes but that can mostly be ignored. If it is not obvious what to do, see the instructions at the ghost website.
